I WAS SEARCHING FOR A STAND FOR MY LITTLE CAMERA. THIS PRODUCT APPEARED STATING IT WOULD FUNCTION WITH MY CAMERA. IT WAS VERY AFFORDABLE. WHEN THE PRODUCT ARRIVED IT WAS LIKE CHRISTMAS. I RECEIVED SO MANY ACCESORIES SUCH AS 2 STANDS FOR MY CAMERA, A LARGE CARRING CASE AND THE LIST GOES ON. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT BUY. THE COMPANY IS VERY GENEROUS WITH THEIR PRODUCT.

As cables go, this USB to micro USB (a small, flat connection) works as well as any. I used it to connect a Kodak PlaySport camera to a computer for uploading video, but this cable can be used on a variety of devices, including Kindles, Nooks, other brands of cameras (it works with one of my Olympus cameras) -- as long as the device uses a micro USB connection.
Things you should know about these cables:
-- The Kodak video cameras come with a wall charger with a micro USB connector. All you need to do is unplug the USB cable from the cube that plugs in the wall to use it as a straight USB to micro USB connector. You don't need another cable.
-- You can use this or the one that came with your camera or the one that, say, came with your Kindle to connect your Kodak camera to your computer. You don't need one that specifies that it works with Kodak cameras. You simply need a cable with a regular USB connection on one end ( to plug into your computer) and the smaller, flat micro USB connection on the other (to plug into your device.)
-- If you have lost your wall charger, including the cable, then this will connect your camera to a computer to charge it that way. You can also insert the regular USB end of this cable into, say, the cube of your iPhone charger to charge your camera using household current. The iPhone cable itself won't connect, but the adapter can be used on any USB cable.
-- Make sure you don't have any other cables that will fit before buying this as a replacement.
This cable is a sturdy replacement or addition for a reasonable price. If you need one a USB-to-Micro cable, don't hesitate to purchase this one.

I purchased a Kodak Z812IS which came with 2 Kodak AA batterys. I took maybe 20 photos before the batterys died a death. I then tried rechargeable 2450mAh batterys, which the advertising told me would take up to 600 photos, I got 30. So with much trepidation I purchased Li-Ion charger and battery. On the first charge I took over 300 photos with the LCD screen on, and the occasional flash. The low battery indicator light did not even come on. What a pity Kodak don't include the pack with the camera. Excellent value for money.

We purchased this battery and charger because nothing else was holding a charge very long so we decided to spend a few extra dollars and get a Kodak battery and charger. So far the battery has been excellent. The charger also charges quickly. We haven't had it long enough to say how it is in the long run, but so far so good. The only thing is that it is hard to get the battery out, nothing major. Enjoy.

The written manual is not good enough to show how this charger works in different ways and works with different sized batteries. Here is the video review and instruction for whom interested in this charger and is skeptical about ordering it.

This battery charger works, and it was cheap! However, my batteries do not quite fit in it - they are a little bit too small - the bottom ridge of the charger moves up and down to accommodate batteries that are larger than the set size - but my battery is smaller than the smallest that it gets - so I shoved a nail file in between the bottom of the battery and the ridge and it works now. If you are worried about a similar situation (perhaps it will be a gift or something) then I suggest you buy a name brand charger that goes with the camera so that you know it will fit. However, for my purposes, I am happy with the charger and will continue to use it. My batteries are for a Kodak Easyshare M530. I don't know how other batteries differ in size, but if you have this camera and want a charger that fits the battery, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Item arrived very quickly. The "manual" is a small piece of paper with a few instructions on it. Luckily it explained it enough that it could be figured out.
This is a VERY cheap little charger. Lots on it could break if not handled carefully. From the charging "pins" that stick out to come in contact with the copper charge points on a battery to the whole thin plastic case itself.
That said, for this price point the thing works fantastic. Works great with with OEM and aftermarket 3rd party batteries for the Kodak Zi8. Unit comes with a DC port so it can charge off home A/C as well as car cigarette lighter sockets.
Charges a battery full in about 30-45 minutes. Light on charger turns a weird blue-ish/purple color when fully charged.
All in all I'm happy I purchased. I would like to see something a little more durable but again, at this price point I don't think I can really complain.
