I agree, this is a very nice camera. It takes nice, high quality pictures and videos. It's easy to use, with a nice large screen, and plenty of memory. The face recognition feature is something I have never encountered before, and I really like it - it makes it really easy to find pictures.

The only con to this camera is the use of AA batteries. It does go through them relatively quickly, so if you are going to be shooting all day, you really must carry a supply of them with you. It's a prejudice, but I do prefer rechargeable cameras.

But, in spite of that, it's a really nice camera and I like it a lot!

So far, I am pleased with this digital camera. Regular AA batteries don't last long, but went to AA Lithium batteries and no problems. I like the 3" screen and picture taking is easy. Pictures are clear and sharp.

For the price this is a very good camera, my only issue was that (for me)the buttons are too small, not a big deal really but it would be nice to be able to press the navigation keys without using a finger nail. Other that that picture quality is good, shake suppression works fine (excellent pictures if on a tripod)has 3 color modes plus B&W and sepia. low light photos are spot on. panorama mode works but could of been refine a bit more. video is very nice. takes two AA batteries instead of a rechargeable one, which i like because its cheaper to have extra batteries on hand when you need them. Comes with 5x optical zoom which is the most I've seen for a camera of this price, but no digital zoom as far as i can tell not that its worth missing. overall 4/5
